Data and Privacy Policy
Your Privacy
Your privacy and data security are important to us. This Policy describes how ORT Software collects and uses information about you when you contact us, or use our programs or online services.
Advertising
The free version of CrossCraze is paid for by advertising supplied by Google Admob (which may supplement its own stock with ads from other businesses). Some user data may be required for the advertising system to function and to target appropriate ads to users.
Users subject to GDPR can control use of their data via a Google-certified Consent Form. This Form is displayed automatically when the app is first run, and it can be re-visited via the game's Options Menu.
You can also reset or delete your ad ID in the Privacy section of Android Settings.
ORT Software never has access to any personal information held by the advertising network:
- Google Admob - Privacy Policy
Purchases
All our customer orders are handled by third-party payment processors. Some payment processors may provide ORT Software with limited personal information (name, email address, etc) to allow us to identify and support our customers. However, ORT Software never has access to any of your banking details.
The payment processors we currently work with are:
- Google Play for our Android apps - Privacy Policy
- Steam (Valve) for our Windows programs - Privacy Policy
Data access
Our games only access files and data on your devices that are directly essential to the operation of the program. For your reassurance, our Android programs only require the bare minimum of app permissions, as can be verified in your Android settings.
Internet
Interactions with websites and other online services typically involve the transmission of your IP (Internet Protocol) address and some basic details about your device (e.g. browser and operating system). In common with almost all companies operating on the internet, ORT Software may log such details in order to improve performance and detect any misuse.
Third-party links
ORT Software is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other websites and programs belonging to third-parties, even if you access them using links or advertisements in our own programs or website.
Correspondence
When we receive correspondence (e.g. enquiries, suggestions or complaints) via email or other means, we may file the details for future reference and support. Any personal information, such as names and contact addresses, will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
Accessing your information
You have the right to request a copy of any personal data that ORT Software holds about you and to request its correction or deletion. You can exercise this right free of charge, once per year, by sending a signed written request to ORT Software.
Changes
ORT Software may update its Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
